Research

Scientific research at the interface of technology, law and society is one of the central activities of the Research Institute. This often involves questions of fundamental rights and data protection law as well as the social consequences and ethical aspects of new technologies, such as the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical research or federated machine learning for data protection-friendly research with highly sensitive data.

We offer seminars, lectures and conferences, pass on our expertise in an easily understandable way and are happy to share our practical experience with you. The Research Institute is active in academic teaching and holds courses in cooperation with leading experts in the industry.
