On 23 September 2025, the 6th General Assembly of the Horizon Europe project REPO4EU took place at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB). The meeting was followed by the 4th International Conference on Systems Medicine, Artificial Intelligence and Drug Repurposing (RExPO25), held from 24–26 September.
The Research Institute – Digital Human Rights Center was represented in Barcelona by Markus Kastelitz and Robert Rothmann and, together with the ethics partners from the University of Porto, contributed to the following topics:
- Ethical and Legal Considerations of Whole-Genome Sequencing in Clinical Trials: Complexities and Shortcomings,and
- Challenges in Informed Consent for Precision Medicine.
