Dr. Heidi Scheichenbauer is a Senior Consultant and Senior Researcher at the Research Institute – Digital Human Rights Center. She studied law at the University of Vienna and the Erasmus University Rotterdam with a focus on computer and law. After her studies she worked as a lawyer and research assistant at KMU Forschung Austria, where she was responsible for solving data protection issues. After her time at KMU Forschung Austria, she worked as a lawyer for the Fundraising Association Austria, where she advised the members of the association on the implementation of the Data Protection Regulation. She is a member of the association of administrative and operational data protection officers (Privacyofficers.at) and author of numerous publications on data protection law.
